On Saturday, May 16th, at 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM there will be a fundraiser to help raise money to help convert a van for wheelchair access for Makenzie. This fundraiser is not being hosted by the Muskegon Masons but because of Makenzie’s family’s close connection to Freemasonry here in Muskegon we feel it is important to support this effort.
Makenzie is the granddaughter of the late Brother George H. Shoup. As well as having a family connection to Freemasonry, Makenzie is also a member of Job’s Daughters.
The benefit will be held at the Muskegon Heights Eagles. The event will include a taco buffet, karaoke, a 50/50 Drawing, silent auction, and face painting. The cost for the taco bar is $8 for adults, and $5 for kids. If you cannot attend you can also show your support by donating to the Go Fund Me campaign.
For more information you can join the Facebook event page. You can also call Kelly Aney at (231) 327-9224.
